Healthy Fish Recipe With Delicious Sauce - Michelle Marie Fit (1)

I am all about the Fish Recipe’s lately.

The reason is because I have seen the lack of it in people’s diet these days. Especially for the kids. For some reason parents don’t feed their kids fish because “they think” they won’t like it. If that’s you, its ok, don’t worry. I am not necessarily judging you. But I do want to encourage and challenge you to start trying.

Start with a fish that isn’t “fishy”, like tilapia. And as they acquire a taste to it, you can start playing around with other white fish like dolphin, cod, halibut, sea bass, etc.

And you must be patient, they may not like it the first time, but keep trying different recipes and they are bound to like one of them. This one is really delicious. My 4 year old, Nico loved it. The only thing is that the sauce is GREEN, LOL, but if they can get passed that, they will find its quite tasty.

I made this sauce and I had a bunch left over so I used it later on in the week on top of chicken and I even used it on top of some roasted veggies and it was to die for. So it you are making the sauce, make a double batch and keep some in a container so you can whip up a quick lunch or dinner on any other day.

By the way, before I give you the recipe, I just want to give you some tips that will help you if you are trying to lose weight, get leaner, get more definition, feel more energy, get healthier, and more toned.

Because it’s not just about cooking even though it’s a big part of it.

I have found that a lot of people are “STUCK” with their weight loss because they are eating some of the wrong foods.

So I have to make sure you arenot eating one or more of foods on this list.Because if you are, it can be completelySABOTAGING your results.Yes, it can totally be true that you can be working your butt off at the gym 6 days a week, eating super healthy (as you think), but if you are eating one or more of these foods, you willNOT BE ABLE TO LOSE WEIGHT.The reason is because these foods though some may think are healthy or not so bad, are actually very inflammatory.

Healthy Fish Recipe With Delicious Sauce

Ingredients

Scale

  • 6 Fillets of Tilapia or any white fish
  • 2 cups fresh Spinach
  • 1 tsp each garlic powder and onion powder
  • 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese
  • Low-Sodium Vegetable stock to desired thickness
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Grill Seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Sprinkle the fish on both sides with grill seasoning.
  3. Meanwhile, in a blender or food processor, place the rest of the ingredients and pulse until creamy and smooth.
  4. Add a little stock at a time until you reach the desired consistency that you would like.
  5. Pour this sauce over the fish and bake for ~ 15-17 minutes or until done.

So yummy! I hope you enjoy this as much as my family and I did. And remember to make extra sauce to use in other meals this week.
